The moon for the month of Rajab is expected to be seen Insha Allah on Wednesday April 30th, 2014 therefore the 1st of Rajab is expected on Thursday May 1st, 2014.
Important Dates of the Month:
· 1st (May 1st) – Wiladat of 5th Imam Baqir (AS)
· 3rd (May 2nd) – Shahadat of 10th Imam Ali un Naqi (AS)
· 9th (May 8th) – Wiladat of 9th Imam Mohammad Taqi (AS)
· 13th (May 12th) – Wiladat of 1st Imam Ali (AS)
· 16th (May 15th) – Wafaat of Bibi Zainab (AS)
· 25th (May 24th) – Shahadat of 7th Imam Musa-e-Kazim (AS) & Wafaat of Abu Talib (AS)
· 30th (May 29th) – Departure of 3rd Imam Hussain (AS) to Medina

Announcements and Updates
- IJA encourages everyone that is interested in sponsoring that on regular Thursday programs, the cost will be under $200 for total sponsorship (excluding big nights like Wiladat’s or Shahadat’s)
- The ladies committee chairman, Br. Shahid Rizvi, would like to inform all the ladies that the annual meeting for the ladies interested in working in the committees will be after the 13th Rajab program on May 12th.
- If anyone is interested in doing Kooday/Niaz of Imam Jaffer-e-Sadiq (AS) at Islamic Jaffaria Association Center on any dates during the month of Rajab, you are more than welcome to. Please let Br. Shahid Hussain know so they can arrange.

- 9:15PM English Lecture
- 9:45PM Urdu Lecture
