Salaam Alaikum,
The moon for the month of Shabaan was seen on Thursday May 29th, 2014 therefore the 1st of Shabaan is on Friday May 30th, 2014.
Important Dates of the Month:
· 2nd (May 31st) – Wiladat of 3rd Imam Hussain (AS)
· 3rd (June 1st) – Wiladat of Hazrat Abbas (AS)
· 4th (June 2nd) – Wiladat of 4th Imam Zain-ul-Abideen (AS)
· 15th (June 13th) – Shab-e-Barat & Wiladat of 12th Imam Mehdi (AJF)
The 2014 Membership fees are DUE.

Announcements and Updates
- IJA encourages everyone that is interested in sponsoring that on regular Thursday programs, the cost will be under $200 for total sponsorship (excluding big nights like Wiladat’s or Shahadat’s)
- There is a “Leadership Conference” in Vancouver on August 29th, 2014. IJA will cover up to $350 per person from the age of 18-26. Please see anyone from the Board if interested. Results have to be shown after attending the conference.
- Comedy Center – Saturday June 14th, 2014 at 7:00pm at the Boca Raton Community High School – 1501 NW 15th Court, Boca Raton, FL 33486. The cause for this is “Orphan Support”. Tickets are $10 at IJA and/or at the door. Please see Br. Liaquat Ali or Br. Raza Rizvi if interested.
- IJA Cleanup will be on Sunday, June 15th, 2014 at 10:30am.
- The Youth Committee is organizing a basketball tournament on Sunday June 1st, 2014 at Westland Gardens Park. Please see Br. Muhammad Hussain or Br. Raza Rizvi if interested. We need names of attendees.
All Thursday Programs will start at 8:30PM with the following:
- 8:30PM Salaat
- 9:00PM Dua-e-Kumail / Sura-e-Yaseen
- 9:30PM English Lecture
- 10:00PM Urdu Lecture
- 10:30PM Niaz
